Her writing life took on many incarnations, and she even did a stint as a writer of romances on tape. MaryKate had been writing romances for years-short and longer contemporaries-and was also published with Soul Mate Publishing. In total, she had nine books published and her tenth book will be out later this year. Her sixth book, Victoria at Sea won the 2017 Heart of Excellence Reader’s Choice Award. That was a happy and proud moment for Marykate! Her third book Brookside Daisy was a finalist for the Golden Leaf Award in 2012.
Her second book, Moonlight and Violet won the Golden Leaf Award in the Best Long Contemporary category. It went on to become a finalist in the Golden Quill Awards.
